Watching Buffy With the Roomies
Finding out what it's like to actually sit there and watch Buffy with my charming but ignorant (Edward vs. Jacob is a serious debate for them) roommates. Conversations overehard:

Makes me appreciate my 14 yr old son.
We've been sitting down and watching the series, too, and we just watched that one.
His comments:
"Where's Spike?"
"He's not in this episode, boog."
"But it's season 2! Like I want to see that pansy Angel."
I snicker. "Want me to change to another episode?"
"As long as Spike's in it."
Okay, he's realized that season 4 is his favorite so far.
"Can we watch Pangs or Something Blue again?"
LMAO. "Why?"
"Spike's so funny and Angel's not around. Plus, Willow looks really hot."
0.0 He had this comment about Felicia Day, too. I'm beginning to think he has a thing for redheads.
"Don't you like Angel?"
I get 'the look'. "Can you say brood much? He's too fat." (insert much laughter)
"How about Twilight?"
I get gagging noises. "That series is for all the silly girls at my school who want a sparkly vampire, which doesn't make sense, because hello? That's like the biggest thing about vamps - they burn up in sunlight."
God, I love my kid. ;)
