Inspired by Chocolate and Zucchini, a belated birthday gift from my friend Julie, I made my first ever soft-boiled egg for lunch. I had to improvise an egg cup, but a little Christmas shot glass in the breakfront served admirably well. We had some frozen drumsticks in our deep freezer that made it through the power outage. We decided that even though they were still frozen, it would be better to use them up sooner rather than later. I stuck them in the fridge to defrost earlier this week.
