Decided to treat myself to a long-desired copy of the complete "Upstairs, Downstairs" TV show with some holiday money. Found the best price on barnesandnoble.com (where I have a membership), with free shipping to boot. And I had a coupon code for an additional 10% off for members, which would take care of sales tax. Except, inexplicably, the code wasn't working. I read the exclusions five times and still couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.

Decided to give their support line a call. Spent at least 1/2 an hour-40 minutes on the phone with a nice tech who also couldn't figure out why the code wasn't working. Supposedly, they're going to refund my $6 and some odd cents at some point.

It would have been aggravating not to get a discount that was due to me, but I also feel robbed of my time at this point.
