My first synthetic fiber wig (dolls)
As the saying goes : when life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
When life gives you a crappy wig, make a slightly less crappy wig. A while ago, I bought a brown pigtail wig for my SD girls. It was awful and didn't fit any of them. I knew that I couldn't sell it 'cause it would've looked lousy on any SD doll. So a couple of weeks ago, I decided to cut up that wig and make it into an ED-sized wig.
IMO synthetic fiber hair is a lot easier to deal with than mohair in terms that it's easier to glue and doesn't fly all over the place. But it's a LOT harder to make it look good once you reach the top of the head. The end result ended up being okay-ish. It looks nice from afar, I guess.
Told you it was lousy on top.
