Chapter 10

It was Saturday.

Akanishi Jin felt the sunlight peer in through his window as he slowly lifted up his eyelids. He groggily sat up as he ran his fingers through his messy hair, looking at the alarm clock beside him. Jin gave a rather satisfying smirk as he got out of bed and walked towards his bathroom. He took his morning piss as he washed his hands in the sink and began to rinse his face. Jin smiled as he stared at his mirror, pointing at himself.

"You're hot." Jin grinned as he admired his reflection in the mirror. "And because you are hot…you are going to win the baseball game today."

Yamashita Tomohisa changed into his baseball jersey as he checked himself in the mirror. He gave a small nod, indicating that he did indeed 'look good'. He looked at the clock as the game was to start in approximately an hour. Yamapi walked over to Kusano's room, wondering if the younger boy had gotten ready yet.

Yamapi grabbed the doorknob as he twisted it, only to learn that the door was locked. The older boy frowned slightly as he began to knock, only to hear no response. He then began giving continuous streaks of knocks, hoping that Kusano was still not asleep…

Kamenashi Kazuya was the first to hear these loud rapid knocks. His eyes opened unwillingly as he began to sit up, only to feel Kusano's leg firmly upon him. Kame gave a small smile as he began to push Kusano's leg away, only for the leg to firmly stay intact.

The knocks began to get rather irritating as it startled Kame a bit as he began to feel anxious. Kame gently nudges the younger boy who responded to his nudges with loud snores. Concluding that his gentle nudges weren't enough, Kame began to tickle the younger boy underneath his neck.

This turned out to be a bad idea.

The next thing Kame knew was that Kusano's foot kicked him right in the face, giving the older boy…well…a purple eye.

"AH!" Kusano cupped his hands over his mouth as he looked at Kame's face. "I'M SO SORRY!"

"No, no, it's okay!" Kame waved off as he began to massage his eye. "I'm fine, really."

"Ah…are you sure?" Kusano frowned slightly, only to hear loud knocks on the door.

"KUSANO!!! OPEN THE DOOR NOW!!!!!"

"AH!" Kusano exclaimed at the sound of Yamapi's voice. "HE'S HERE!"

Kusano then flailed his arms in surprise, only to hit Kame in the face for the second time.

"AH!!!!!" Kusano smiled uneasily at Kame. "I'M SO SORRY AGAIN!"

Kame shook his head. "It's okay…I'm fine…heh…"

Kusano then grabbed his pikachu metal alarm clock as he placed the cool metal part, which happened to be pikachu's butt, on Kame's face. "I don't have ice…but I hope this works!"

"Um, yeah…" Kame grinned as he placed the alarm clock firmly on his face. "Pikachu's ass works wonders."

Kusano responded with a snort, only to hear Yamapi's voice again.

"Geez!" Kusano scrambled out of bed. "He is so annoying!"

"Ah, I should get out of here!" Kame exclaimed as he began to climb out of bed. "You're brother would kill me if he finds me here, huh?"

"Not if I kill him first," Kusano stuck out his tongue.

"Aw, would you really?" Kame smiled.

"I like you wayyyyyyyyyyy better!" Kusano grinned, only for his fluffy moment to be interrupted by Yamapi's frantic knocks.

"KUSANO! IF YOU DON'T OPEN THIS DOOR, I'M GOING TO GET THE SPARE KEY!"

"Ah, maybe you can go out the bathroom window?" Kusano suggested.

"Sounds good to me," Kame nodded as he began to hand the pikachu alarm clock back to Kusano, only for Kusano to shake his head.

"No, no! You need that!" Kusano then grabbed a piece of duct tape as he taped the huge alarm clock on to Kame's face. "I learned in fifth grade that cold stuff cools down bruises. You need this; you wouldn't want your face swollen throughout the baseball game today!"

"Ah…" Kame felt sweat drops appear in the back of his head but responded with a cool nod. Kusano's ways of treatments were kind of weird, but the kid was cute, so Kame let it go. "Thank you so much for healing me!"

"Hehe, I'll heal you every time!" Kusano grinned as Kame headed towards the bathroom window.

"Kiss for good luck?" Kame asked rather boldly, causing Kusano to flush slightly.

"Okay…" Kusano replied shyly as he gave Kame a peck on the lips. He waved the older boy off as he ran towards his door, opening it.

"Finally!" Yamapi exclaimed as he crossed his arms, staring at the younger boy. "What were you doing?"

"S-Sleeping!" Kusano immediately replied.

"Hm…" Yamapi looked down as he studied the younger boy's face. "Sleeping, eh? Then why is your face so red?"

"What? Red?" Kusano felt his face get even hotter. "I'm not red!"

"You're blushing!" Yamapi exclaimed. "You know, I noticed that you always blush around me!"

"EW! NO!" Kusano shook his head as he formed an 'X' with his arms. "Don't flatter yourself!"

"No, need to be shy about it," Yamapi grinned as he ruffled the younger boy's hair.

"But I'm not!" Kusano whined, as Yamapi ignored the denial.

"Go get ready for the game," Yamapi smiled. "We have to leave the house in half an hour."

"Okay…" Kusano began to walk towards his closet only to turn to his step brother once more. "And I'm not blushing because of you!"

"Yeah, right, whatever…" Yamapi winked as he left the room.

Yamapi was feeling rather confident. Surely Aoi High would win the baseball game…even if they are lacking two of the better members.

"At least they have me."

Tanaka Koki hastily got into his baseball gear. He looked in the mirror for the hundredth time, feeling rather miserable from the bruises he received from Yamapi the other day. His whole body felt sore as his head throbbed with pain. He was in no condition to play, but decided to go anyway…more because he couldn't stand being in his own home.

Koki quickly walked down the flight of stairs as he hastily greeted his servants, hoping to reach the door without making any contact with his…

"Koki."

Koki closed his eyes for a split second as he cursed in his head. The one person he wanted to avoid that morning…he was unable to avoid.

"Yes, father?" Koki turned to his father greeting him with a small bow.

"You got into another fight?" Koki's father frowned heavily at the bruises and bandages all over Koki's body.

"Ah…somewhat…" Koki replied weakly.

"Did you win?"

"…" Koki remained silent.

"I'm disappointed in you."

Koki winced at his father's words. He wanted to leave the room at that moment. His father didn't even care about his well being…all his father cared about was if he won the fight or not.

"Um, I have to go…" Koki mumbled as he took a step back. "A baseball game today…"

"You're pathetic…" Koki's father looked sternly at his son. "You just lost to a fist fight and all you care about is a silly sports game."

"…" Koki avoided his father's gaze.

"You shame me as a son of a mafia leader…" Koki's father let out a sigh. "How am I supposed to pass down the title to you when I feel so hesitant about it? A boy who can't even win in fights…a weak minded boy who does not have the will or ambition to become even stronger-"

"I WILL BECOME STRONGER!" Koki shouted in frustration.

"Words mean nothing."

Koki fumed in anger as he watched his father abruptly leave the room.

He was definitely in no condition to play baseball.

Taguchi Junnosuke took a brief shower as he began to dry his hair with a towel while putting on his baseball clothes. He was running a bit late as he stuffed his toothbrush into his mouth only for his mother to appear at his bedroom door.

"Junnosuke!" His mother greeted him with a smile. "Big game today, huh?"

"Mphmmmm!" Junno replied with a nod as he ran into his bathroom to rinse his mouth with water.

"I'll be coming down to the baseball field to watch you," Junno's mother smiled. "We should have lunch together!"

"You're going to be making lunch?" Junno lifted up his head in delight, only for his mother to respond with a small frown.

"Eh? Me?" His mother looked at him in disbelief. "Isn't Shigeako going to be there? I assume she'll be making you lunch, right?"

"Ohhh…" At that moment, Junno felt horribly uneasy as he gave his mother a wary nod. "Ah! Yeah! Of course! How silly of me to forget!"

"I look forward to her lunch!" Junno's mother smiled. "Because you're ideal girlfriend must be a wonderful cook."

"Yeah mom…I totally look forward to it too…" Junno bit his lips.

"I'll be sitting with her during the game…" Junno's mother smiled. She had a gorgeous smile, just like her son. "I hope to bond with her more…even if she is mute."

What was Taguchi Junnosuke going to do?

Koyama Keiichirou waited rather patiently in Kato Shigeaki's bedroom, waiting for his friend to get ready for the big game. He walked around his friend's room, looking around and studying the already familiar environment. In other words, Koyama was bored.

"Really…" Koyama can hear the water running in the bathroom. "How long does it take him to shower?"

Then he heard a familiar tune ring in Shige's bedroom. He walked over towards the melody, picking up Shige's cell phone as he looked at the caller ID.

"…Mr. smiles of death…?" Koyama read the name wondering who Shige would label such a person as. He answered the phone, having a slight guess that it was Massu.

"Yo, Masuda!" Koyama answered rather confidently.

"Shige?"

"He's in the shower…"

"Who's this?"

"…who's this…?" Koyama frowned. The voice did not belong to Massu at all. However at that moment Shige got out of the bathroom, only to find Koyama with his cell phone.

"Who's that?" Shige asked as Koyama gave a shrug, giving the phone to his friend.

"Hello?" Shige answered.

"Shige?"

"J-Junno?"

Koyama lifted his head in surprise. Now that he thought about it, the voice did sound a whole lot like Junno. He frowned slightly wondering what business Junno had with his best friend.

"Junno? Why is Junno calling you?" Koyama looked at Shige.

Shige noticed his mistake as he immediately changed the tone of his voice. "AH! Uncle! You are such a tease…your voice fooled me for someone else!"

"What the fuck?" Junno frowned. "I'm not your uncle!"

Shige ignored Junno's voice as he turned to Koyama. "It's not Junno, it's my uncle!"

"Oh…" Koyama felt a bit suspicious. "If you say so…"

"You think you can wait for me downstairs?" Shige asked indicating the need for privacy which slightly hurt Koyama.

"Oh…yeah…sure thing…" Koyama replied rather reluctantly as he left the room, but he couldn't help but feel bothered. Were they not best friends? They told each other everything. What was there for Shige to hide?

"What do you want?" Shige turned back to the phone.

"I need you at the game," Junno explained.

"Well, um, I'm kind of in the game," Shige replied rather sarcastically. "Guess who guards 3rd base? Yeah, me."

"My mother expects you there…" Junno bit his lips slightly. "She's planning on sitting with you…"

"What the fuck?" Shige exclaimed. "I can't, I'm playing in the game."

"And she expects you to pack me lunch."

"You're joking, right? Because I'm not laughing."

"Can't you get your cook to whip you up something?"

"I feel that you are getting more than what we bargained for. All I agreed was to pose as your girlfriend…not provide my time and…a packed lunch? You are expecting way too much from me!"

"I told my mother that you had a twin brother who's in the game. All you have to do is change back and forth within games…I'll just tell her that you get constipated continuously which will explain why you keep leaving back and forth throughout the game…"

"Wouldn't your mother get grossed out by me?"

"Yeah."

"Ugh, then what's the point?"

"Well, I can't deny the fact that she'll get grossed out, but it doesn't mean she'll stop liking you."

"I hate you."

"From your lips to god's ears."

Masuda Takahisa stretched his arms for the billionth time. He began to stretch out his legs, hearing the crowd grow from outside. Massu took out his wristband from his locker as he closed his locker shut. He gave a small reassuring smile to the other members of the baseball team. He closed his eyes as he began to get in meditative position.

"Are you nervous?"

Massu lifted up his eyes only to see his best friend, Tegoshi Yuya. He responded with a nod and a smile.

"You'll be fine…" Tegoshi reassured. "Massu has incredible arms, I'm sure you'll make amazing pitches-"

"HE BETTER!"

Both Massu and Tegoshi turned as they faced Uchi Hiroki, who still had his bandaged hand.

"Considering that you're taking my place on the pitching mound…" Uchi smiled as he gave Massu a nudge on the shoulder. "You better throw well. I demand a lot of strikes from you."

"I'll do my best." Massu smiled.

"Where's Ryo-tan?" Tegoshi asked as he looked at Uchi.

"Well…I went to the hospital before I made my way here…I have to admit…he still looked like shit," Uchi gave a small smile. "We begged the doctor to let him leave just for that day but he said no. It was kind of funny because Ryo made a whole deal out of it and started screaming in the hospital room, making a tantrum. Dude, he liked scared the poor little children in the other beds."

"Haha, we don't know who's the real child," Massu gave a small laugh.

"How typical of Ryo-tan," Tegoshi smiled. "But I'm sad he can't be here for the game."

"Yeah…they said he'll be able to leave within a week…more or less…" Uchi bit his lips slightly.

"I'm hoping for the less." Tegoshi commented.

"Yeah…" Uchi smiled as he then turned his attention to the other members of Aoi High's baseball team. "CAN I HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION?"

Heads turned towards Uchi's direction as Uchi stood on a locker room bench. He beamed at the faces before him as he gave them a proud smile.

"Ah! Sorry we're late!" Yamapi smiled apologetically as Kusano followed behind.

"It's okay," Uchi grinned. "You guys are just in time for my grand speech."

"Ah…crap…" Yamapi teased as Uchi threw him a glare.

"First of all…where the hell are Koyama and Shige?" Uchi looked hard in the crowd. "Oh well, I see that a few people are going to miss my grand speech. But it's okay; I'll repeat it to them again later. Anyways, everyone…LOOK AT MY HAND."

Uchi raised his bandaged hand as the room began to stir up.

"Yes, my hand, my poor beautiful hand…I admit, it had been slightly fucked up by the boys of Akai High…" Uchi frowned heavily. "But its okay! Because I'm counting on you guys to avenge my hand and snatch the baseball title from that school. We sacrificed too much of our time to spend together practicing when we could have been doing better things like watching porn or downloading porn or pleasuring ourselves with porn or-"

"I THINK WE GET YOUR POINT!" Yamapi cried out as everyone began to get sweat drops.

"Right, right, of course you guys do," Uchi nodded. "Anyways, in the name of lost time and PORN…I SAY WE KICK THEM MOTHER FUCKERS AND LEAVE THEM CRYING ON THE GROUND! LET'S SNATCH WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OURS AND UH WIN THIS FUCKING TOURNAMENT! DO I GET A ROAR?"

"ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The whole room responded with roars.

Uchi Hiroki smiled. The energy was running.

Kamenashi Kazuya smiled proudly at the dedicated members of his baseball team. However he noticed that one member was particularly not in the spirit or the mood that Kame would have liked him to be.

"Koki…" Kame walked up to his friend. "You look awful and so does Nakamaru…but Nakamaru appear to be in high spirits…"

"No, I'm fine…" Koki forced a smile.

"No, you're not…" Kame frowned slightly as he looked around the locker room. "Ueda!"

Ueda lifted up his head as he turned away from the mirror. He was checking on his hair for the millionth time. "Yeah?"

"Can you take over 3rd base?" Kame asked.

"But isn't that Koki's-"

"Koki isn't feeling well."

"Oh okay, sure."

Kame then turned to an underclassman as he gave the boy a small smile. "Would you do the honors being an outfielder?"

"Yes sir!" The boy beamed in happiness to be offered such a position.

Kame then turned back to Koki once more.

"Thanks Kame…" Koki sincerely appreciated for what his friend did.

"I hope you feel better." Kame smiled as he turned only to freeze slightly in his tracks.

Akanishi Jin stood stiffly as he faced directly towards Kame. Things had become a bit awkward since the other day and it saddened Jin a bit for things to become this way…all he wanted to do was patch some things up.

"K-Kame-"

"I'm counting on you for catcher," Kame mumbled stiffly as he turned away.

Jin felt his heart break to pieces. He couldn't help but feel disappointed. Throughout the game they would be continuously exchanging eye contact…being that he was catcher and that Kame was the pitcher. Jin didn't know if he could go through that.

"Kame…" Jin mumbled sadly, only to feel a small pat on the back.

"You should have grabbed him when you had the chance…" Nakamaru commented.

"What the fuck happened to you?" Jin ignored his friend's comment as he looked at Nakamaru's bruised face.

"I'll be blunt," Nakamaru stated. "Pi beat the shit out of me and Koki."

"That fucking bastard."

"Let's just win this," Nakamaru smiled optimistically.

"I'll pound their asses."

"CAN I HAVE ALL YOUR ATTENTION?" Kame smiled as he stood on the locker room bench.

Heads turned towards Kame's direction as Kame smiled upon them. "I'm happy to be blessed with a strong team who is dedicated to baseball. I always loved baseball and I'm honored to share my baseball memories with you all. For the second time I am hoping to win another championship with you all and keep our baseball title. We can do it, RIGHT?"

"RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The whole room riled up with excitement.

Kame smiled.

"Okay then…let's win this!"
