Tim Horton's Brier
So this week I have been volunteering at the Tim Horton Brier Legends of Rock that has been going on in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was been a great week and I have really enjoyed meeting lots of different people. I finally did get to see the Newfoundland Labadour team of Brad Gushue. I got my program autographed by them. Volunteering at the Brief
Wow hard to believe that the Brier is finally here. I am volunteering at it. I was there yesterday and it was great. I really enjoyed it. Now I get to work again tonight but this time at the Convention Centre one. It will have a lot more room. I am doing the merchandise and it was great. The only thing is standing for the whole shift. Happy New Year
I guess I have be lax in updating this year. I have had a few busy last few weeks. I got an A in my Financial Accounting 1 course. Now I am taking Excel Spreadsheet by distance education. In the spring I will take Financial Accounting 2 again. Then I have that so I can take the Accounting Software programs ( Read more... ) -
Been too busy to update
So I have been really busy these last few weeks. Between curling work, bowling and my class I seem to have very little free time. Now it is have way between November and soom Christmas will be here. In my curling we re 4-2 much better start then last year. When we have our Christmas party the game we are playing is the Skins style of game. ( Read more... ) -
Curling has started and a job interview today
Curling has started up. We started last weekend and the ice was weird. We won the game by default as the other team only had one player and two spares. We still played a game just so we could get back into the grove of curling. It was nice to be back on the ice and curling. Bowling is going good, getting back into the groove of that as well. Time for an update
So been busy these last three weeks. Haven't had much time to do much. I have started my class and it is going good. I think I have made the right choice in taking accounting. Learning lots in the class. Bowling started and is going good. Haven't really had three great games but I have had some good games. Need to get back into the grove ( Read more... ) -
September Already
Wow the month of August went by fast. I am back to a 9 start at work. Which meand that I will work to 5. Friday my bowling starts back. I have my curling meeting on the 17yh and then we will start in October. I'm just wating to see what my schedule will be for the Brier in March and what I was assigened to. Hoping to get back to normal work schedule soon
Last week and this week I was able to start at noon at work. At least I can get in a full shift and work till 8p and get a decent paycheck once again. I just dislike the noon start as it makes it diffcult to do anything before work. Mom goes on a vaction and the dog gets out of the house
So last week on Tuesday mom left for her vaction. The dog has gotten out of the house three times without anyone of us knowing. He is looking for her as the van is here but she's not here. When he goes outside with me I have to make sure he comes in the house. I am glad she is back on Saturday. I know for a fact she'll be greated at the door ( Read more... ) -
Beach Yesterday
So we went to Bird's Hill Park yesterday afternoon after my sister got off work. It was fun, I know my nephew had fun with me as I was throwing him into the water. I was the only one that stayed with him. It was nice and peaceful out there. I am taking them next week but I don't know if I will get into the water as someone has to stay with out ( Read more... )
