Do enjoy Minus the Bear for me. I'm missing the Philly show, cause I'm in Atlanta, and the Atlanta show because I'll be in Kansas. Oh, the things we do for love!

Aw! You and your boy have terrible timing!

I haven't bought the record yet, but the 3 or 4 tracks I've sampled online are all ones I've heard them play before, so I'm totally stoked for the show.

I take that as a challenge!

As soon as it is all handled, you'll see notices of our gatherings in this space. They're kinda like Tower parties but with more board and card games and less people. Oh, and less puking. And music from wax instead of plastic. And they're held waaaaaay out in the boonies in Bristow. Well, I guess they're not really like Tower parties at all. Hmmm...

I've played like once in the past 20 years (we had a table when I was small and then my mom sold it because she's evil) so I probably suck, but I heart it any.

I saw Minus the Bear last night in Toronto and I thought of you Ben and the fact that you hadn't updated in awhile.

Hi!

Sheesh! Don't you know that when you go through a tunnel you're going underwater and you have to hold your breath and drive cautiously?! Jeez.

They do have to drive cars out for people who have panic attacks in there, too.

I hate tunnel traffic. Part of the problem here is that on the Hampton side its 3 lanes that quickly dwindle into 2 (that side seems to be backed up nearly always - no matter the time of day or weather!). For some reason they thought building the Monitor-Merrimac out in the middle of nowhere would ease up on HRBT traffic. It has yet to actually do so.

At least when you get out of it, traffic returns to normal...because the suffocation is over, you know.

Trust me, living in Norfolk, I'm WELL aware that there is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much traffic when it comes to the tunnels. Especially the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel which you may have had to go through to get out here. And NOVEC is bomb. My mom works there and you should be happy you get some money back every year. At least they give it back, right? haha.

Well, yeah. But it makes me feel like i'm stealing from my old room mate!

In a few years I'll send her a check for $10, that will put us even.
