Heres to the nights...
(random thought - I love how in the spring when it rains, the green leaves looks like they are almost glowing)
Yesterday was one of the best days I've had in a long, long time.
I finished out high school by skipping 3 problems on my math final yesterday that I was too lazy to do. Its ok, either way I will get an A. I took pleasure in knowing that I am finished with high school forever. Trying to put all my past behind me and forget about everything that has happened (from middle school until now) behind me has been hard for me, but I think knowing that I am moving on from it all will make it all easier.
After school I went to lunch at Wing Ranch with Catherine. That was a lot of fun. We talked about school and life and she wanted to know about birthing children so I told her most of the story. She found it hilarious and disgusting all at the same time and she said she never wants to have kids, but she'll change her mind. It was nice, I've missed Catherine during this. It was hard having what happened between a best friend of 7 years happen. I'm glad things are normal again...
I went to Caseys after school because Rachel called and asked me too. I get stuck in Horrible traffic, even though I didn't have to get on the highway (I did anyway because I am stupid). Then I get lost and finally get to Caseys. Ok, like 230083 people are there. Not really, the number was closer to 10 or 12 but it felt that way. It was INCREDIBLY awkward walking in. Everyone was like, "HOW ARE YOU?!" It was intense. Theresa (my normal defense against social situations) called me and I was incredibly joyous. We talked for awhile, I went in and they started filming. The scene was a party with a bunch of popular people at a party. I decided I would take part in this so I danced in a huge group of people while holding a glass full of water (I suppose it was supposed to be alcohol). Then they filmed scenes of small groups of people doing random things. My thing was snorting "cocaine" off a glass table. They shot the thing from under the table and it was really cool. After they finished everything, me, Claire, Julie, Rachel, Jen, Kristian, Dani, and Casey all went to Mellow Mushroom for dinner.
Mellow Mushroom was so incredibly fun! I drove Dani over there and we talked about school and how we used to be inseperable. At dinner we talked about school and college. I haven't smiled that much in forever. I found out Casey is going to school in Cleveland, GA which is right by Dahlonega, like 15 minutes away. We are also all planning on going camping for a weekend sometime. I suggested it be while I was in school on an open weekend this summer so we can go up there. I am so excited. I really hope that I hang out with everyone again soon. I really, really felt comfortable with these kids.
I stayed out until 9:30 and then came home. I was incredibly happy. It feels nice to feel this way again. I'm really comfortable in my own skin and I can't wait to get out even more. I can't wait to go to school either.
