I survived the shopping center parking lot! Silly me, decided to just "pop in" to PetSmart for crunchies and litter for the cats. There is no such thing as "popping in" to a store that shares a parking lot with both Wal-Mart and Best Buy! But I made it out alive.

I bought a coat from Amazon the other day for less than $20! It just arrived today. I was afraid it'd be too small even though I ordered the XL. But it fits, and it's quite warm, and the collar around my neck is nice and soft, and it's kinda CUTE! Looking forward to trying it out tomorrow!

1. Looking for recommendations on shelf liner. We have a lot of cabinets and drawers to line now! Ideally, it would be neutral colored, easy to wipe up spills, and available somewhere simple like Target or Bed Bath & Beyond.

• Found a tailor’s down the street and took my purple suit and brown slacks in to be re-hemmed. They will be done next week!

• Took the morning off today to go see a new orthopedic surgeon. The good news: my knee is not in too bad shape. The doctor (wow, what a character) classified it as "mild and early osteoarthritis."
