The headline "Yankees Cut Ticket Prices by 50%" both greeted and amused me when I got to work today. I know from reading Keith's baseball blog (I only skim for the parts I actually understand) that empty expensive seats have been a big bone of contention at the new stadium. Keith was reached for comment in the AP wire story about the price cut:
