Holy crap!
I may be an idiot! Just because I can't go for the whole freaking week doesn't mean I can't go for part of the freaking week! Maybe I could get off of work on Thursday and Friday. Then I could drive down on Wednesday into Thursday, do a quick set-up Thursday night... be there Thursday and Friday night... and start driving home on Saturday night. Or I could maybe take off Monday, too, and stay over Saturday night, too. Or take off Wednesday-Friday and start driving on Tuesday night.
Hm. 14 hours is a freaking long time to drive by yourself. Maybe I should think about this some more before I start getting all excited. Grrr. Advice?
