Hey!
I was expecting cream-colored ponies and bright copper kettles and warm woolen socks upon my entry to the Real World. Well, or at least, I don't know, coffee and donuts. What is up with it? Is it broken today? Seriously, is the lack of rainbows in the sky and a twinkle in the eye of every passerby an indication that it hasn't started yet?
I mean, no one promised me a rose garden, but I was okay with that, because my allergies would have a hay-day. That doesn't mean I expected the Real World to be like, well, the regular world. Where are the flying cars and the hearty handshakes and the happy happenstances?
Look. The only reason I graduated was because everybody kept hyping this "Real World." Where is it? When does it hit?
...frickin' false advertising.
