Yeah, you know I don't have a clue about any of this, except for the random hilarity, so I will be reading these if I ever catch up. However, since information falls into my lap, I found you something else: character sheet for Robin from the movie. Click on the Show spoiler buttons to see, and make sure to check the rest of the post, there's a bunch of stuff from someone who's seen the preview.
JSYK, the pics below are like CRACKY KINK to me. THANKYOU ♥ ♥ ♥ Comic book message boards are oh-so-scary though. I used to hang out at them when I had a thing for Azrael and you WOULDN'T BELIEVE the endless wank about costume changes. I need to write that zombie fanboy story, huh.
My brain is about to IMPLODE.22by7February 18 2010, 03:35:02 UTC
You know, I'm kind of jumping on the bandwagon in thinking Jensen is fully aware of his utterly unique typecasting. Well, since he's the one who ends up accepting those roles, there's probably some manner of vicious cycle at play, no?
I still can't believe that the FANCASTING CAME TRUE. Holy shit.
We're all imploding here. Click on the above links in the comments and check out the preview pics if you haven't already. So much to cram into one movie!

That just tends to make me think he's kinky. Is that wrong? :|

RIIIIIIIIIIGHT? He's "reserved", he says. And I'm guessing many of us here are "reserved" as well. I'm not even being snarky, either - we end up in fandom for a reason. Maybe it works the same for actors? Either that, or getting paid to be tied up, beaten, and covered in fake blood can really get to you over the years ;)
Between his work on Supernatural and now the world of Batman, Ackles obviously has had some experience working in what has affectionately been called the “fan boy genre.”
“The positives of working in this genre are that the fans are extremely devoted,” he offers. “People really invest themselves in these stories and characters, and the mythology behind them. To be a part of something that so many people really get behind and want more of is extremely gratifying.”
At least Jensen's had lots of practice with these things, like he said. So when Batmen show up to ask him questions IN CHARACTER, it can't be any weirder than people in full-sized teddy bear costumes, um, I hope.

And I'm not gonna be the one to talk about getting behind him and wanting more of him, nope, nope, not me.
Though if Jensen ends up in a room full of comic book fanboys at some point during the promotion of this thing, I WANT TO BE THERE.

It will like Kripke fantasy convention from 5.09, only REAL and lots of sweaty men mooning over Jensen. Yes?
