You know, I'm kind of jumping on the bandwagon in thinking Jensen is fully aware of his utterly unique typecasting.
I know that animation can't ever live up to 25 years of comic book interpretations (25 YEARS, FUCK!) but still, this is, like, even cooler than that time they animated part of 'The Dark Knight Returns' for the animated series. My fifteen year old self is dancing. The DVD will be out in October. I know what my birthday present is going to be...
So, in between Garak/Bashir, Golden Orgasm awards, ASSGM, talking to Latvian women about manpain and gang bang (and cats), being introduced to new levels of porn by men from the Great White North and the deep South, sweet Clois, and eventually SPN, my fannish life for ten years was DC Universe porn, starring Bruce Wayne/Jason Todd (Robin II), Bruce Wayne/Dick Grayson (Robin I), Bruce Wayne/Tim Drake (Robin III), Bruce Wayne/Clark Kent, Tim Drake/Kon-El (Superboy), and sometimes Bruce/Jason/Dick/Tim/Clark/Kon and every variation thereof.
I wanted to rec some fics (mostly from around 2005) when I was new to LJ (and making a total fool of myself, ignoring the whole beta-reader thing, and leaving incomprehensible feedback - I know, some things never change - JESUS, I'M A SPAZ. WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE MAKE ME QUIT YOU, LJ?), ahem, fics that are particularly memorable. This list is by no means exhaustive, complete, or indicative of the fandom as a whole, but just a list of fics that I still love and was able to seek out (before LJ used tags). The authors might choose different works as their favorites, so no offense is meant to them. Robins vary in ages. Keep that in mind.

And why isn't Smallville renewed yet? :( This week we get Clois Valentine's Day (with red K no doubt) and a scene with Lois I've been daydreaming about for YEARS. Also, the hot guy from Diary of a Call Girl is in the cast (shut up, Billie Piper is in it).
