Right. Firstly my Use Your Illusion I CD case has only just made it's way out of my bag (I only (re)bought it four weeks ago) and is ABSOLUTELY covered in E powder. This is not acceptable,
jimsparrow. You didn't take as many as you thought you did. There's about a half on (and in) there.
I bought myself a SNES today along with Street Fighter II and Mario World. I'm mighty pissed off though. Mario World doens't fucking work and they didn't have another one. I'm going to return it and get Mario Allstars instead. It's good, but it doesn't have 96 levels to unlock! Cunts at Gamestation should at least check this shit out. The SNES works perfectly and I was pleased to find that the GameCube Scart cable fits it (it also fits the N64, but I already knew that) so I didn't have to bother wanking about with the back of my TV to get the RF cable in and suffer mono gaming. Not that you really notice the stereo in games that much anyway. Certainly not SNES games.
After ripping UYI1, my CD drive decided to be a dick and now it's stuck in there and it'll play the CD, but I wanna rip UYI2 now. Cunting thing. It's been playing up since I wasted all my blank CDs trying to copy CDs and failing. Just giving my two seconds and then gap, two seconds, gap. You get the idea. I guess copy protection does work if you don't try to do anyhting about it. Meh. I have the CDs anyway. I just tend to loose stuff.
I bought Gish (created by
Chronic Logic, the people that made Bridge Builder/Pontiflex and
Ed McMillen) last night just after my pay went through and FUCKING HELL!! It's brilliant. There are a few things that I don't like (quit playing and lose a life for example) but minor niggles aside, it's a brilliant platform game. I'm not going to even try to explain it, just go download the demo and see how good it is:
