We arrived yesterday. Brother in law Pete had been taken to the emergency room that morning. He fell and couldn't get up - very weak. They are doing many tests on him now so that is good. Hopefully they won't release him till they get it figured out. In the past they let him out of the hospital too soon (I guess they needed the bed) and he started ( Read more... )

Dave and I decided to drive to Florida instead of me flying by myself. We'll make a vacation of the drive down. Go slow and check out some parks and places on the way. Jun 1 If you had to leave on a road trip tomorrow with little notice or planning, where would you go?It's not going to happen now in the time of covid but a trip to Maine always comes to mind when I think of going somewhere. I really want to see Maine and New England before I die. Acadia National Park would be my primary destination. ( Read more... )
