I may not have been producing much in my workroom lately but someone has. Johnny has been making this pendant for his girlfriend Alison:
A little copper fox with a silver heart for a tail tip. Cute.
I call Wednesday in my mind "Wonderful Wednesday" cause it usually is a day where I don't have anything planned - it is a free day. Now that Johnny is nearly done with my workbench (still needs to put a clasp on the chain) I can be at my workbench myself again - if I am in my room I may get something done.
Johnny and I are shopping for some good knives to give to Dave for his birthday next month. A cleaver and big chopping knife. Plus I am getting him a good plastic wrap dispenser (that you can mount on the wall and refill). He hates how the cheap ones we buy in the grocery stores have the cutter fall off before the roll is done.
My leg is getting better. I can now climb the stairs with it though I can't go down the stairs yet (have to go one step at a time). When I can go down stairs then I will get back on the bike and try it there. I miss my bike! And walking at a fast rate. I was walking back from the mail box this morning and noted to myself that I now have a hitch in my git-a-long. Have you ever heard that? It's a folksy way of saying you have a limp. I must have heard it when I was a kid and always liked it. Dave said he had never heard of it - I thought everyone had.
