Jules and I took the 3 boys to Lake Erie today for an afternoon on the beach. It rained twice while we were there but it was warm enough we didn't mind. It was a beautiful day really. The sky was so dramatic with many ranges of blue and brilliant white puffy cloud tops with purple bottoms.

What a great day you had! Love the pix, especially Nap in a Puddle. There is something so etherial (sp) and timeless about it!

It was just such an odd pose in the first place it was fun to make it more strange.

Sounds like a really nice day! I love all the pictures, especially nap time in the puddle with its strange warm glow, and the last one shows such happiness. A day I'm sure they will remember always.

That first picture looks ancient.

I think the pixlr-o-matic app for the i-devices has more choices than the computer version has. It has a section of overlays that look like cosmic scenes. I used one of those on that first photo.

We did have a really nice day. Jules and I didn't do much really - just sit and talk (I put my feet in the water but it seemed too cold for me) and I took photos but the kids were busy the whole time in the sand and the water. They think we should go back once a week. ;-)

Nap in a Puddle is stellar!

Kids! You are blessed, M. And what a blessing for them to have you!

I am blessed! Have to remember that next time I'm pulling my hair out with frustration though!

Awesome first pic!

The napping in a puddle is somehow unnerving...which artists mean to do, I know. Maybe it is womb-like?

I'm glad you had such a nice day in the sun with your grandchildren. I think you had enough fun for one day - no need to stay up. Sweet dreams :)

That puddle picture, even when I was taking it I knew it would be odd. Rossy is a natural model and is good at finding interesting poses. I see it as womb-like too. But creepy.

Fun to take photos, but then even more fun to try to enhance and change them. :-)
