Went outside early this morning to do my morning writing and meditations and it was still cool. We are having a muggy heat wave right now. Thank goodness we have an air conditioner. It's just a small one in one room but if you are near the air conditioner it's nice and the rest of the house is tolerable, especially since I run it all night and the humidity in here is kept low.
Today is Gabriel's birthday - 13 years old. As a special thing he got to stay home with me instead of going to the child care center. He and Chloe just got back from shopping for the food for his party and she got him an ice cream cake.
The papers arrived today for the wedding guest book so I can get started on that. The book will be wider than it is tall so it will be using longer pieces of paper than I usually use. I won't be able to make handmade flower and thread paper for the cover (too bad - it would be pretty - but my paper mold isn't big enough) so I will make paste paper for the cover - she's ok with that.
Onward...
