monday - memorial day
The jade plant (*revision - might not be a jade - don't know for sure what it is*) in the laundry room has flowers. The long skinny flower stalk threaded it's way up through a tangle of other plants and the plant stand and found it's way to face the sun in the window. I don't want to disturb it now (it worked this all out for itself and must like it this way I presume) so here is a photo through the dirty window.
Went to an all day art group at B's yesterday. So good. I got a page spread done in each of my books. But I think this very small one was my favorite of the day - done in my pocket sized AI book.
My compulsive overeating has been out of control again - today I want to focus on recovery. I was feeling so good about losing weight - why did I suddenly stop caring? I need to focus today on accepting life, everyone in my life, and myself, exactly as we all are today.
Today - a "holiday". But nothing feels very special - just another weekend day to me. Beautiful weather AGAIN though! It will be a wonderful day to enjoy the grandkids and be outside as much as possible.
