I still want to believe that I would have gotten over the hives by myself EVENTUALLY but I'm glad the doctor's pills are working. The pills are working so good that I don't even want to use the salve he ordered - it's so greasy. I put it on when I first got it yesterday afternoon but do not like the feeling of it. I seem to be doing okay without it so far last night and today. We're heading out soon for our anniversary trip so I won't write much. I hope it's not too hot for us to hike. I've packed a lot of water in my back pack. It's not supposed to be very hilly to get to Umbrella Rock and maybe it'll be mostly in the woods and shady - I'm hoping. After that I don't know what we'll do - just play it by ear. Probably go to an air-conditioned restaurant near Ridgway to rest.
