I took a bunch of pictures yesterday. The cheap underwater camera arrived in the afternoon and I tried it out when Jules, Sebastian and Noah were here for dinner. We took a walk down back with the dogs after dinner. Pictures of spring wildflowers too.

Spring Beauty. I actually remembered the name this year. But it took a while. Maybe next year it'll come faster. I always surprise myself when I do cram another new name into my head.

Another picture of Dutchman's Breeches. This was with Super Takumar. It's probably my favorite lens for when I want to do artsy pictures. I think I'll keep it on the big camera for a while longer.

I also remembered this one. Speedwell. I like that name.

Where Dave and I sit in the evening sometimes. There is a yellow ball in the crotch of that tree. That's Andy's ball. He gets it down and we'll play catch with him. It's cute when he stands up on his hind legs to get the ball out of the tree each time. He knows it's stored there.

This is the first picture taken with the new little underwater camera.

"Banana" 4K. It's dumb and it's cheap and it's basically a kids first camera but I'm going to give it a try as my carry-around camera for walks in the woods.

A grainy pic of Blondie. Very cropped in. Cropping the pictures afterwards isn't the greatest way to use this camera.

Taken from where I was sitting beside the chicken coops. Blondie had moved on. I like the look of this pic.

It does good with people I think. Jules.

Dave and Andy.

Noah leaning over to pet Andy.

Sebastian.

Andy taking a break from catching ball. I think he's deciding who he wants to throw it for him next. It was mainly just Dave, Noah and me.

Banana 4K has a selfie mode.

I'm going to try using a tablecloth on the mosaic table for a while. I got a few mandala ones so I can change them out frequently. Banana 4K did good getting close in for this so maybe it can even get flowers in the right light. I'm going to take it along today for a walk that Candy and I are doing at Wolf Creek Narrows. I know the bottomland spring wildflowers are going to be fabulous there right now. I'll have another chance to practice remembering and identifying them, another chance to beat old age and brain death!
