Finished the flower puzzle last night. Now I know why I want to keep doing puzzles (at least for a while more) - the last 50 or so pieces are so satisfying. Each last piece only takes about 5 or 10 seconds to figure out. Boom, boom, boom. I use this table for clothes folding and it's used for Sunday dinners when there are more people here so the best way to do jigsaw puzzling is to try and get a puzzle done in less than a week so I can use the table for other things on the weekends.
We're heading over to visit Chloe's boyfriend Jimmy's house today. He lives in Weedville. Around 2 hours away. The forecast is for light snow most of the day. I hope it stays light. Taking the dogs. We've heard that Jimmy's dogs are very friendly so I hope ours will get along with them. We weren't going to take them at first but Chloe insisted that we should so we'll see.
"One, Three, Many". The look of the snow falling in the front yard at the moment. That's how far along the daffodils and tulips are that Rossy and I planted a few years ago. Maybe someday someone will be looking at them and say - oh yeah, Great Grammy B planted those 50 years ago and they're still going strong. Whenever I see flowers coming up in odd places in the woods I think someone long ago, probably the lady of the house, planted those bulbs. The house is gone but the flowers are still there. The other day I was hiking with the dogs at Two Mile near the Arch Tree Trail and saw multiple places where snow drops were coming up in big clumps. There is an old moss covered spring house foundation near there but the house is long gone.
