Frost on the windshield this morning.
Candy and I hiked a big roundish loop at Two Mile mainly keeping to the ski trails and came to this spot by the lake. When we sat down we could feel the warmth of the metal bench on our backsides. It was so nice to just sit in the sun with eyes closed and take in the sounds of birds around the lake. Red winged blackbirds, bluejays, crows.
Came home and did a ride-along with Dave to town to the bank and hardware store. They were having a bake sale in the bank so now we have chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies and apple dumplings. Got home, took a nap and got up to work on the puzzle for a while before walking the dogs to the creek.
Making some progress. This kind is definitely more difficult, I do believe. I think I would like doing puzzles that are easier in the future. I need quicker satisfaction.
Dave is heating up some borscht soup for our dinner tonight. We made it last summer and then froze it. He just yelled soup's on. Time to wrap this up.
