Went to the Henry Run Sawmill Dam waterfalls at Cooks Forest with Candy this morning. Lots of big hills to climb. It felt good to get out and move after being sick.

Our destination. This was once the dam built to power a sawmill in the 1800s. All that is gone except for this stone wall dam. I took the IR camera. Many more black and white pictures here:

Nice wooden bridge over Henry's Run.

I left the colors as they were straight from the camera for this one. I liked how the water looked golden.

Looking towards the river, downstream from the dam.

Clarion River.

Trees on Hemlock Island at the mouth of Henry's Run.

Heading back to the car now. All those bumpy rocks on the right side were covered with bright green moss. You'll have to imagine the glowing backlit color.

Passing by Scurry Overlook again on our way back. The Clarion River far below.

The actual colors of the day.

candy, black and white, clarion river, infrared photography, cooks forest
