This bird mobile is right in front of my face when I do my exercises now. So I had to take a break and get an artsy picture of it yesterday afternoon.
Yesterday was a beautiful day. Took the dogs for a walk around the back yard.

A picture of the Persian Tiles blanket I made a few years ago. We're using it on the bed right now. That's what gave me the idea that the pattern might look good as a curtain valance too.
Today would be our dad's birthday. He was born 114 years ago. He was an older guy - 43 when I was born. Compared to my friend's parents my parents seemed like they were grandparents. He could tell stories about the horse and buggy days, houses lit with gas lights. He was very imaginative and an inventor. A builder - he built our house and the neighbor's house. He could figure out how to fix anything mechanical. Until the age of computers came in and then he had to give it up. Anyway - Happy Birthday Dad. I sometimes feel like he is still here - watching over me - putting a nudge on. Opening up pathways. He still has an effect on me.
