I liked this stone I saw up in Franklin Cemetery on Saturday. Liked the idea that we are on one side now, either the flat one dimensional side and later we'll be on the full and all knowing side of things, or else it's the other way around. But we are connected to our loved ones in any case. They are just a little over to the side of us, experiencing things in a different way, maybe a more diffuse way.
We had our Father's Day cook out yesterday and I thought Rainy was cute coming up on the bench to sit beside Jules. She has a special liking for Jules and makes a point of coming to visit with him while he's here. She doesn't do that with most people. Usually when company is here she hides in the hall closet.
Well, getting to be time to head out for a hike with Candy. We had originally thought we might go biking but it seemed a bit chilly this morning so it's going to be hiking instead...
