I started using the bird ID app Merlin on my phone yesterday. It is fascinating watching's the birds' names appear as you are hearing their songs and then seeing the name light up when you hear it again. We have so many more birds hidden in the woods than the ones that we see visiting the feeders at the house. I had no idea. I might actually be able to learn the bird songs now.
I spent a lot of yesterday, off and on gluing collage pictures into a new Everything Book and painting the pages. I figured I would need a fresh journal for taking to Florida. My present one is on its last pages. Pasting collage pictures in the books and adding a splash of coordinating color to the page is one of my favorite things to do. A happy and productive day. In the evening we met Chloe at the Jumbo buffet to celebrate Father's Day. Coming home we stopped at Tractor Supply for sunflower seeds for the birds. Got home and walked the dogs to the creek, threw ball for Andy in the backyard and that was my day...
The weather has dried up nicely today. A beautiful summer. Planning to walk in the cemetery this morning. Will try out Merlin there too.
