New Pelikan gouache colors. I do love color. Many colors, a rainbow of colors. I don't think I am unique in this but I think not everyone gets a thrill seeing multiple colors together like I and others like me do. I asked Dave and he said he doesn't see this as particularly exciting. I do though.

I go on binges of eating just one thing for a while. Right now daily lunch is a bean and cheese burrito with extra colby jack cheese melted on top and fresh Mexican style salsa. A hard boiled egg eaten with lime and salt corn chips for breakfast.

On Friday evening Dave and I took the dogs for a walk down back. Some pictures:

The Golden Hour.

I had never in my life seen this plant before (that I can remember). It was growing right beside the path. Just the one all by itself. When I looked it up I found it's called Dutchman's Breeches. Very poisonous to cows. Sort of reminded me of a bleeding heart flower except white.

Canada goose crossing.

They've been adding even more dirt to the piles by my favorite spot to take a lake pic. Rainy looking funny hopping over ridges of dirt in the foreground.

Today Candy and I are hiking at Wolf Creek Narrows. May is a really good month to visit there. Beautiful bottomland spring flowers. I'm thinking I'll take my big camera for a change.

colors, wolf creek narrows natural area, i love rainbows, wildflowers, gouache, spring flowers, art a day
