Self portrait. Trying to figure out Nikon's SnapBridge this morning. This was just taken by accident. I really haven't figured it out yet. I think I need to go online to find some instructions.

The hurricane has now passed over Kathy and Pete and moved on to around Orlando. But I won't hear from them till maybe this afternoon. At least I should hear from their daughter Laurie today for sure. Now I understand how my parents used to get so worried about Kathy being in Florida during hurricanes.
A busy day today. I have an optometrist appointment in the morning. I haven't had my eyes checked since before the pandemic. I know I need new glasses. I feel like picking out glasses is kind of like trying on clothes for me. It's not a fun experience. I don't think I look good in any of them. If I try to change my style (from simple gold wire rims) then I don't look like "me". I'd like to change my style, really I would but it's so hard. I keep thinking I'd like clear plastic frames but when I try them on I look terrible and funny. This might be a really good time to take some selfies for my self portrait project.
In the afternoon we will go to a memorial for Don W., one of Dave's good friends. He was a super nice guy. A pilot and Vietnam vet. A very humble and kind man.
I have my piano lesson afterwards so there will be lots of practice today if possible.
