A "blue" bird I worked on yesterday.

Both Dave and I woke up very early this morning. 3 am.

I finished the latest season of Call the Midwife last night. I wish there were more of them. Seems like you have to cry every five minutes when you watch it and I like that. I especially got choked up when the story had the stillborn baby being buried with an unrelated adult so it wouldn't be alone.

I made bean soup yesterday with the beans that Dave had saved and dried from his garden last year. It turned out pretty good. We canned tomatoes again a couple days ago and had 2 1/2 quarts extra that wouldn't fit into the 7 canning jars that the canner takes so I used that in the soup too. The next thing he wants to do is green tomato relish. We might start that tonight.

A full day today. Women's group in the morning. Dave's eye shot in the afternoon. I need to get on the phone and make some appointments (Rainy and Skye annual vet checkups and my mammogram) and now I have another appointment to add to that. Time to get the car inspected...

5:30 now - I might go back to bed.

sleepless night, letting go book, macular degeneration, dave's garden, food, art a day
