My beloved Barnebey Jones bike - I do really like my bike. I think I should get a back rack for it though. I don't like that front basket anymore.
East Sandy Creek is very muddy. We got a lot of rain yesterday.
Candy. This is the only place we stopped so I could get a picture. I like this view. We eventually got to the place I call The Secret Bench - 5 miles upstream from Belmar - a bench hidden in the woods beside a little stream. Though they have been logging in that area and it wasn't shady anymore! Wasn't as beautiful. Fallen trees spoiling our view. And to top it all off I slipped on a rock walking down to the bench and fell. In my mind as I fell I had time to think about how I didn't want to take the full brunt of my weight on my wrists (didn't want another broken wrist!) so I ended up doing a body slam and my chest hit a rock that was sticking up. I'll have a bruise on my breast later I bet. Thankfully I really didn't get hurt. After sitting there for a moment collecting myself I was fine.

Dave's making lunch as I write here. We discovered salmon hotdogs. He likes to grill them and they are delicious. I don't eat land animal meat so it's nice to have a hot dog in my life again!
