Yesterday I finished crocheting edges on all the pin loom squares I made for Candy's lap robe - 64 in all.
Laid them out so I could organize them for the next step - sewing them together.

I want to at least get them sewn together vertically so it will be in one piece before I set it aside.
I got 4 rows attached last night after I took these pictures.
We are having Sebastian's 21st birthday party here on Sunday and I have a lot of cleaning to do.
Need to get started on that.
With a bum right arm it'll take me twice as long.

Writing time was just interrupted by the smoke alarm going off.
Dave had accidently turned on the wrong burner of the stove and it set his plastic clad thermos on fire!
He said the flames were shooting up 3 feet high.
Grabbed it with a potholder and threw it out into the backyard.
This is it just now as it's burning down.
We were scrambling for a while there getting windows open and fans turned on.
Burnt plastic - not a good smell.

Another chance for me to campaign for a gas stove with Dave.
This wouldn't have happened with a gas stove.

Questions:
What is the least inspiring/interesting meal you've eaten?
I've probably already forgotten it.

What is a concept you don't really understand?
I kind of understand electricity a little bit (enough to be safe around it), but not really.
Dave grew up in a family of electricians and he's tried to explain it but my mind just starts to go blank after a while.
And of course anymore there are all kinds of new stuff that I can't truly understand - like computer chips.
How can that little thing hold so much information?

Well, plans for the next two days:
Finish sewing the lap robe together so it will be in one piece at least.
Sweep the floors.
Clean off the dining table.
Deep clean the kitchen.
Clean the bathroom.
