dreamed that i was in the resistance
and we were trying to pass information to the fighters
i worked as a waitress in a run down and bombed out restaurant
there was a message printed to look like a fortune cookie paper
hidden behind a picture on the wall
the gestapo found it
all the other workers and i denied knowing anything about it
but then we had to run anyway
running down long twisted, old and crumbling passageways
i came to the lowest level
there was a circular pit with a strange fire in it
the fire was poison
the fire needed to be put out because it was contaminating everything
a bearded father figure found a water hose and was pouring water on it
we needed to find something to suck up the excess water before it overflowed out and contaminated everything
(this is the weird part)
i brought little rainy day and lowered her over the edge
and she was sucking up all the water
she was holding a huge amount but she never grew any bigger
finally the fire was out and we were leaving the area
rainy and i were running down a street
she was behind me
i looked back and she had disappeared
woke up distressed
i imagine a lot of the dream has to do with worrying about taking rainy to the vet today
last time she went for her annual checkup they wanted me to schedule her for the dental clinic
today
they'll be putting her under
poor little thing
no food or water after midnight last night
i need to drop her off at 8

rossy came over yesterday afternoon so i could take his senior picture
so glad i have the 85mm lens now
i was pleased with how it turned out

candy and i had a great lunch yesterday
at the family tradition restaurant in harrisville
came to find
char was eating there too with her sister
a very pleasant surprise to see her
