this picture was taken at the top of the hill
behind our house
the creek has flooded out of it's banks and overrun the lower yard
the arrow shows where the creek is supposed to be
i noticed when i let andy out
last night how loud the creek was roaring
so i wasn't surprised this morning to see it in the lower yard
we had a lot of rain yesterday
melted a good amount of the snow
then during the night it got cold again
and snowed
a white dusting on the dry land
so you can see better where the brown flood water is

new treasure arrived yesterday
i love these kinds of blended colors
can't wait to get the blue lap robe for candy done
so i can use this yarn next
i ordered a triangle shaped pin loom
i think it'll be neat to try this yarn with it
