Yesterday morning didn't go as planned. After I did my LJ writing I checked the calendar and discovered I had an appointment to go to the dermatologist for a mole removal at 8:15. I had totally forgotten about it. Big rush to get a shower and get ready to go to get there on time. It all went well but I found that they could only remove one. The others would be cosmetic and cost way too much to do. Which is ridiculous. The removal of the one that was hurting me took a few seconds and the others would have been the same or less. It would have been so easy to do! But it would have cost hundreds of dollars more (not covered by insurance) for each individual one. They said that every one they cut off would have to go to be biopsied. Dumb. So I guess I'm going to have moles. The doctor was nice and friendly but everyone else in the office was cold and unfriendly. The most unfriendly doctor's office I have ever been to. I left there annoyed by the whole thing. What happened to the old days when you went to your GP and he did these kinds of things quick and easy just because you asked and he was able?
Just before it was time to go to my piano lesson Dave asked me if I wanted to take the dogs for a quick walk down back. A couple pictures from that:
Dad's chair.
The lake.
Rossy didn't feel well enough to go to school this morning but he might feel better later and want to go in late. If he does I will take him and get some shopping done. Other than that not much on the agenda except the usual crochet and piano practice today. Maybe work on a simple little painting that Berdella asked me to make for an illustration that she needs. It's supposed to rain so I'm not planning any walks. Mini trampoline would be a good idea.
