I've been doing jewelry stuff with Alison.
Here's a progress shot of how the copper piece on the one pendant looked after getting oxidized somewhat when it was soldered. I liked that bubbly pattern.
The 2 pendants after they were done. We got to use the rolling mill for the leaf pattern in the left one. Something I rarely get to do.
Today I'm teaching Alison the rudiments of making a bezel and setting stones. She's making a pair of petite moonstone earrings for herself.

Dave has been going back and forth between feeling good and not so good. He has 4 new meds and they don't all sit well with him. Ups and downs yesterday and today. He was out mowing the lawn on the riding mower a little while ago.
The Christmas before last I asked Jules for a smoothie maker and I made a bunch of them for a while, then I got away from it. I decided that we do need cold sweet treats and smoothies would be the answer as something healthy instead of all the ice cream sandwiches we have been eating. I bought frozen blueberries and strawberries today; and kale and spinach that I divided up into little packets to freeze. I already had some vanilla protein powder. I just now made the first smoothie of our new diet plan. Very yum! It really hit the spot for Dave when he came in from mowing.

Here's the weekly Franklin Cemetery pictures from my walk up there this morning.
Seriously leaning.
Another view of the "woman turning into wood" headstone.
I forget sometimes that this isn't just a beautiful park with interestingly carved stones.
