Johnny and Alison might get here tonight. Or they will get to their hotel tonight and we will see them tomorrow.
Last night when I arrived at my music lesson Elizabeth, my teacher showed me a ring she was trying to make from very thin springy wire. Not the right kind of wire to use at all. Plus she had no pliers. I gave her some advice about using different wire next time, getting some jewelry pliers. But you know, I was just thinking... She's already been to my house a couple times before to tune my piano. Maybe I could invite her here and I could show her some jewelry techniques in my studio? Share some of my bounty. I'm not that interested in making jewelry to sell anymore but I could teach others. It is a wonderful skill to know. Alison has talked about learning to make a bezel from me too when she's here. We'll have to see where that goes.
Practically living on zucchini right now. Zucchini soup, zucchini bread. If I remember correctly last year at this time (zucchini time) I gained weight. I have a very low fat, high vegetable, low sugar bread recipe I'm using now though.
I just leave it the pan to cool and keep it covered with a dish towel. It is very moist so it needs to breathe.
The rain has stopped for now. Yay. Planning to hike at Two Mile with Rainy this morning. The close up extension tubes arrived. So I'll take the camera along - maybe I'll find something interesting to get a macro photo of. Didn't get all my cleaning done yesterday so I need to get back at that again too.
