Having a wet summer so there are lots of fungi growing! I don't think I have ever seen the blue/purple one before. That buck was a lucky shot.

I think you should save for the D850, M. It's going to become an outrageous deal soon.....I think I'm going to step sideways into the mirrorless Z system, or I would be waiting to pick up the 850.

Ha! I was just this moment looking at the mirrorless cameras! Lots to think about. This photo spree I took today tells me that I do love taking pictures with a big camera, more so than with just my phone. It would be so great to have a relatively lightweight full frame camera with perhaps a pancake style lens on it. I could get a lot of use out of that.

You enjoy it AND you're damned good! It's so easy today to get truly professional grade prints made online - affordably! I think you need to upgrade the body. I've been back and forth for almost a year now. I was finally committed to the D6 but the more I've been on wedding photag forums, I can see the writing on the wall IS mirrorless. BUT, M, that means all new lenses!!! That's hard for me because I have pro glass and it's pricey. So.....but I think the new Z that is coming this fall will be released with a package and I'm just going to take the leap. I will always have my D800 for these lenses.
