19 Have you ever been told you look like someone famous?
No.
Got up at 3 am. That seems early but I did go to bed at 8 so that's 7 hours of sleep. Lots of quiet time. It's like I got 3 extra hours of free time to putter at nothing. I did crochet some.
I got some new christmas lights yesterday. They are strings that hang down and are big enough to cover the front window. They are faint till you make a sound and then they brighten and change (yellow, red, blue and green) according to how loud the sound it. Or you can just have them flashing in different patterns which I find annoying so I'm going to keep it on sound control. That was one thing I did at 3 am - figure out which settings I liked.
I also got 6 tall thin glass bottles yesterday that I ordered especially to hold the philodendron cuttings. I made brass wire hangers for the bottles and finished cutting the old plants up to get the best starts. I hung those on the front window too, along with the new light strings. The front window has been refreshed. A productive day yesterday. Also made chili and invited Jules and the boys over. I offered Jules a philodendron start that was in a jelly jar. I was surprised that he took it. He is a no frills kind of guy and doesn't usually like excess stuff in his house. This might be his first ever house plant.
