The question:
Nov 1 Who is one of your “saints” - a person who was very influential in your faith, spirituality, or life philosophy?
Blaa. Getting tired of these questions. Getting tired of a lot of things I do each day. Didn't sleep well last night, or maybe I slept too much? I was very tired at 8pm and went to bed then. Woke at 11 and tossed and turned all the the rest of the night but I triumphed in that I did stay in bed. Woke up with a backache at 6:30 (old time - which is the new time of 5:30). Getting up at 5:30 is good for me - a time I like to get up so I can have time alone before anyone else gets up.

Okay, back to the question. I have always admired Mahatma Gandhi. In fourth grade we read a book with biographies of famous people. Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Gandhi were the two I especially remembered and admired. When I have to sign into places and they need a name I sometimes call myself eggshellgandhi. I admire him a lot and he has been influential to my spirituality though I am certainly not a very good follower. I wish I could be better (without going through the hardship that he put himself through).

On the hill in the southwest corner of Two Mile Run park. Rossy and Sebby went for a hike with me yesterday afternoon. Ever since I took that massive amount of pictures down at McConnell's Mills park last month I have lost some of my interest in taking pictures during hikes. But yesterday was a really beautiful sunny day (kind of chilly - only about 50F) and I thought I really should take at least one picture to remember the day. I walked ahead of them with Rainy on her leash and listened to the boys behind me doing brother talk. About games, computer parts - stuff I know nothing about. But I felt good that we were together and I liked hearing their voices.

Feeling really blaa lately. Drawing and painting don't interest me. Going down to work on the mosaic doesn't interest me. But I need to do SOMEthing with myself. Today - it's dark and supposed to rain. Maybe I should get in a little walk down to the creek before the rain gets here for real.
