8 Have you ever talked to yourself out loud in public?
I don't remember doing it in public. Though I do it a lot in my car and that might be perceived as being in public. People can see me. I sing to myself and hum (quietly) in public frequently - in stores, on the street, in the woods.
The rain is over. Yes. Today is dawning a beautiful day. Jan and I are walking somewhere. Not sure yet where it'll be.
I started watching a new netflix film called My Octopus Teacher. I have always been enthralled by octopuses. How intelligent they are. How strange and otherworldly they appear. The guy making the documentary has made friends with one. I'm only halfway through but I'm imagining that at the end the octopus will die - that will be the end of the film. I'm already sad thinking of that.
Walking back from the mailbox this morning:
I like how when I walk past those rows of trees they collapse into a line and then fan back out.
