Pictures from my walk this morning:
This old chair sits at the top of the hill. I didn't sit on it.
This would be much better for sitting.
The trail bends away from the park border here.
I think I am at the edge of Speer's Golf Course and that is the wall at Tri City Speedway.
Huge rock pile in the woods. Much higher than my head.
Rainy looking cute.
Wounded tree.
A tree sloughing off its skin.
I had to take a pebble out of my shoe. You can tell I mainly always wear this pair of shoes all summer.
The trail not taken. When I set out I wanted to return by way of this trail but after I got to the top of the hill I couldn't find it. Next time...
Lots of berries but only a few ripe.
Thank goodness for the mowers.
I just liked how those few blades were purple. They were the only ones that color.
After I get home from these walks I feel energized. So many times I can't wait to go back again. Today it could be the fact that I missed that trail coming back and I want to find the connection next time. The trails are like a puzzle that needs solved.
