your post reminded me of this wee bit of Rumi:

The birds make great sky circles of their freedom.
How do they learn it?
They fall.
and in falling, are given wings. . . .

Hope all this falling helps give you wings!

SO glad you are back home! Please take care of yourself because you're the only one that can. You give so much to me, family, friends and the world. Please continue to be honest, because I need to hear what matters to your heart. The J. Campbell quote about joyfully participating in the sorrow is profound and insightful.
Yes, I too want so so much from myself and this life. Our bodies are so much smarter than our ego racing minds. Listening to what our bodies are saying and honoring and obeying that wisdom is the difficult part, but together we can keep trying.
Hope Kathy and Pete arrived safely.

Hi Mary, Been thinking and praying for you all week, so glad you are feeling better. My mom has had several bouts of pancreatitis and was also hospitalized for them. She watches her diet as best she can.
We had Homecoming preparations all week this week. I helped. Football game went well with our win 33-7.
I think you underestimate yourself. You Put alot of effort into your family, grandchildren, and all. You are there when friends need you. Your life is good, no one can be "superwoman" but we try. Giving thanks is your best one. It can be a mantra when things are not going the way we think they should. Take good care. Love ya, JAN
