I had a visual migraine this evening. Dave got his sprayer ready and we were going down over the hill so he could kill the stinging nettles on my paths in the woods, the poison ivy that I missed and multiflora roses too. Usually I get the migraines when I'm stressed. I guess I was stressed. Anyway, when I have them it obscures my vision and I could hardly see to find the stinging nettles that I wanted him to kill. Luckily the visual migraines only last about 20 minutes so I could see eventually and I found a LOT of it down there. I didn't even realize so much of it was there before. I just knew that my legs were getting stung whenever I walked the paths.
Afterwards we went over to Dave's garden and I waited for him while he watered it. We were wondering the best time to water a garden so I looked it up. It seems all the advice agrees - you should water in the morning. So I know where Dave will be in the mornings now.
I know I took a similar picture to this a few days ago but I just like seeing it. This new batch of chickens is so friendly. I was sitting in a lawn chair and they were all gathered around me gently pecking on my clothing and shoes then Dave came and Blondie and Cleo went over and started pecking his toes. He would say ow and they'd stop.
Here's a lily that Berdella and I saw in the woods at Wilhelm when we walked there this morning. Neither of us had ever seen a flower like this before.
The underside. Little treasures in the woods.
