The question:
20 Houseplants - yea or nay?
I have a few. The Norfolk Island pine I have mentioned before that I use as a Christmas tree, a plant that I got from Sally when she was moving to a new smaller place and she was throwing it away (it looks like a tiny palm tree), a kalanchoe and 2 hanging philodendron plants I got from Nancy. I don't take very good care of any of them. Thankfully the plants I have seem to not need much care. One of these days I'd like to get a Christmas cactus again. I used to have one for many years and it did okay with my style of care.

Raining today. I stood out on the back porch this morning when I let the dogs out and it was very warm (for here in March - 60 F) The rain pattering on the roof was nice.

I'm going to try the Walmart option where you order online and they pick out your groceries for you and you just pick them up outside. See what that's like. I need dog food. They are out of frozen peas and that is one thing I really wanted. I did stock up on the ingredients to make tuna noodle casseroles and tuna macaroni salads. Both of those things are much better with frozen peas in them so - darn. I also discovered they carry vegan fake tuna - called tuno (ha) and I'm getting some of that. UPDATE just now: the online order won't go through - due to high demand they aren't doing outside pick up right now.

Our tax lady told me that she was ordered to close her office (to people coming in) at 8 pm last night. I think I'll take the time today to scan our info and send it by email to her.

One day at a time.
