The question:
16 What all is on your favorite sandwich?
Recently I was making a sandwich that I really liked that was a wrap. It had vegan lunch meat (smoked turkey), and chao fake cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. I do like Italian white bread BLT with mayo sandwiches with fake bacon too.
Yesterday the trip to get Sebby's stuff from college went well. Hazel drove and I got sleepy on the way home as I always do. Sebby rode in our car on the way back (Rossy went with Jules) and we stopped to eat in Warren at a Chinese restaurant. The girl who waited on us was inattentive and looked sad. Then I got to thinking maybe someone back in China had died - who knows? The food was good. We got vegetable lo mein, broccoli in garlic sauce and sesame tofu and shared so we all got an assortment of foods. I have never had sesame tofu before. I need to ask our local restaurant if they can make it. It was super good.
This morning I did none of my usual routine of making Rossy hot coco and and preparing him an orange for quick eating before sending him off to the school. It was nice to not have all the different alarms going off to remind me to: 1. wake up extra early so I have time for coffee and puttering. 2. start the hot chocolate. 3. tell Rossy the bus will be here soon.
I just went out to do morning chicken chores and took some pictures:
Dave has been sawing logs with his sawmill. I think this is the third log. He told me last night how happy he is right now doing this. Something he has always wanted to do - I remember him talking about it 37 years ago when I first met him. Goat shed in the background. :-)
The 3 older chickens picking up grains and dried meal worms that I toss out for their morning treat. The barn (it's really just a storage shed but we have named it "the barn", is on the left, the small chicken coop where I will move the babies eventually is straight ahead, and the original chicken coop on the right.
Hiking with Candy today. Looks like a clear sky - though it is frosty and cold right now.
