visitor to my goatshed
When I got up from my nap this afternoon I took my cup of coffee out to the goat shed and thought I would have some quiet time out there. At first I did not see my visitor.
Hugging the corners. The little snake was about 2 feet long. It might be a melanistic garter snake. Or a young black snake? Not sure.
It didn't seem very afraid of me but it started to move away, always staying in the corners. I laid on the cot and watched it. Neat to see it so close.
