happy easter day
Art-a-day from the last couple days. The busyness of getting ready for Easter company on Friday and then yesterday I was noticing how the trees are coming out with their little baby leaves. I absolutely love the look of the world right now with fresh little leaves and buds coming out everywhere. The woods are polka dotted with spots of yellow green.
We had a good time yesterday with the family here and now today is a very quiet day. I wish Johnny and Alison could be here for more family get-togethers. I miss them. After everyone left last night Dave and I looked at each other, "Here we are again old pal. Just us".
After playing around with the 600 Sun camera last night it got me excited again for the Mint camera. The thing the Mint excels at is portraits. You need to be about 2' away to get the best, which feels uncomfortably close when taking pictures of others. It's nice for selfies.
