Memory of the salamander we saw under the ice the other day.
Got up from sleeping in late and it's snowing. Not sticking to the ground. The sun is even trying to peek through now and then.

Just got done watching "Gran Torino". We watched it years ago but I heard last week that it was a Hmong family that lived beside Clint Eastwood's character so I got the movie again. I knew back then that they were Hmong when we watched it but forgot about it and it didn't mean much to me till I read the book, "The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down: A Hmong Child, Her American Doctors, and the Collision of Two Cultures".
Lazy day. Made potato salad for lunch and Dave fried fish that he caught yesterday. I got a hook/holder that screws into the wall and it can hold your guitar or ukulele or whatever. I put that up beside the seat where I sit at the dining table. It was good to get the uke off the table where it takes up valuable space.
